For those of you who don't know, I am starting a blog. Obviously.
But, this is no ordinary blog.
Once a day, every day, I will pick picking out a special song
and then talk about it some
I will do this until I have 10,000 songs.
I will try AS HARD AS I CAN to not miss a day,
but its probably bound to happen I will miss a few here and there
And if I'll do, I might just jam-pack however many songs i missed into one.
but i am determined to finish this
This will take about 27 years.
Here it goes.

This happens to be
Day THREE of my 10,000 day pick a song thing blog thing.

The song I chose today was "Cigarettes" by Fort Minor.
One day, my brother was showing me some of the music he listened to.
He played this song and I instantly fell in love with song and the band.
Fort Minor would probably be considered a Rap band, but they have some hip-hop type stuff, like in High Road they have a singing chorus.
Anyway, this song has lyrics that actually sunk in and meant something,
aided by former member and rapper of Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda.
If you get a chance to, listen to this song.
Look up the lyrics and follow along, I really liked it and I think a lot of other people will, too.

Well, this is

DAY TWO of my 10,000 day pick a song thing blog thing.

The song I chose today was "It's A Fight" by Three 6 Mafia.
This song to my knowledge is exclusively on the new movie "Rocky Balboa"'s soundtrack.
It might be somewhere else, but I don't know.
Anyways,

This song is absolutely great.
It's really getting me fired up to go see the movie.
The lyrics really capture Rocky and stuff.
It has a great beat,
cool lyrics,
and the song just rocks.
If you get a chance, listen to it.
I guess I would consider this rap.
I told you I'm not a big fan of rap,
but some stuff I just absolutely fall in LOVE with that i'll share with you in future entries.
Uh, yeah, I just love this song.
To reiterate, just listen to this song, especially if you love Three 6 Mafia and/or Rocky.

DAY ONE) Glenn Case- I Am The President Of The Sony Entertainment Corp, LTD.

Haha, this has always been a favorite song of mine since I found out it existed.
Glenn case is probably one of the greatest songwriters of this era.
He has written or participated in over 320 songs, which is more than I'd expect anyone to.

Anyway, about the song.

It like.. seems exactly like what the president of the Sony Company would do,
with some funny twists.
It has a great tune, even though it might not have 70 instruments like some bands out there today.
I don't really mind "explicit lyrics" if the song is good, like this one.
I don't like them when its like straight street rap like "yo yo F%&* Sh*@" type of stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I don't HATE rap, I'm just not the biggest fan of it. Some stuff I just fall in love with, which you'll see in further songs.
Anyway, off task again.
This is a good song, so are many others of Glenn's.
Glenn is just some guy who loves to make music. Some of it might not turn out so great here and there, but he writes great music.

Glenn Case really inspires me to try to get into the music scene,
he just writes so much music and all that jazz.
He may not be uber-ultra famous, but the people that do know him are content with his music.

And that's why I chose to pick this song for Day One of my 10,000 song pick.
